FULL MOON AQUARIUS effecting everyone aug 9th

All full moons are emotionally powerful and transformative events. Full moons also are peak times when getting together with others is more interesting/tense/active/ect than during the waxing/waning periods but the full moon in Aquarius is the best of all for group encounters and freak shows. Although this lunation brings with it some tense aspects we are very lucky!

Tension usually keeps things from being boring anyway...

On Sunday night, the Full Moon occurs when the Leo Sun opposes the Moon in Aquarius. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon. It is an emotional time—a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships.

The Leo-Aquarius polarity deals with the balance between all that is personal (Leo) and all that is impersonal (Aquarius). The energy of Leo is creative self-expression and the boost to the individual ego that we receive through pleasure and romance, while Aquarius rules the group, more impersonal friendships, and objectivity. This Full Moon urges us to strike a balance between romance and friendship, and between expressing ourselves in personal and impersonal ways.

The Leo Sun is proud and intensely individual—not content with simply being just one of the team. The Aquarius Moon, while individualistic as well, values independence and the "team". The Full Moon illuminates this conflict.

This Full Moon highlights a Saturn-Neptune opposition, bringing into our awareness a clash between our ideals and reality. Challenges in our love life, with children, or with friends may come to light, and we may be feeling drained by these people's needs. Striking a balance is in order, but getting to that medium ground may be a bit of a struggle. Watch for feelings of disillusionment and disappointment, particularly with regards to friends and lovers.

With the Moon full and bright in the sky, symbolic "illumination" occurs in our own lives. However, these new feelings and revelations are emotional ones, as there is a sense of emotions bursting forth into our consciousness. It's time to express ourselves, and to let things out of our systems. Of course, we might want to exercise some care while doing so, knowing that what is coming out of us is new and not particularly rational as yet.
