some portland monsters

we plan on bringing a small system- but we are nameless as of now- we are getting together to have a meeting of minds and try to get far more organised than we have been the last couple of years- we are trying to grow in population and welcome any portland mutants to write to us- and get on the wagon- the meetings are yet to be posted and may be in a public park in the city- so we can all get together in a central location- possy up and split"delegate" some duties of things yet to come-

I would love to join some other Portland mutants.
my project is called diabolik switches. the style varies, but it is mostly very hardcore and fast, although some of it is more groovy and melodic. I live in beaverton. e-mail me at dyinginfinite@yahoo.com, oh yeah...if I play I have my own ride, all I need is directions.

PAN-ZEN is setting up a system this year at AMF. We are an experimetnal arts krew, mostly, in PDX.... our website is currently moving but, ultimately you can find out more about us via www.panzen.net
Several of us are also involved in 999 eyes/Societas Insomina so we where going to set up near each other... want to join our proximity (site allowing) and create a PDX neighborhood?
We could at least coordinate our arrival times, and see what the site offers....

Yes Hello Yi!
Spacial and aural considerations aside (our system is smaller then some of the more established crews..) I think this is a great idea. Cross-camp collaborative chaos is something I'd l-ov-e to see reach actualization at the festival.. diversity is a plus in all collectives but in particular I hope to represent the noiser contigent of "music" as well as explore experimentation across hybrid media disciplines. Do you cats have any plans on bringing up video gear? (We have yet to secure a projector.. may end up taking a more DIY approach..) I have some media up @ www.iokaos.net, though the video are "shorts" and do not really represent the more ambient stuff I've been working on recently..
check us out at CACOPHONY = events.iokaos.net
(wanna linkshare when you get your site up?)
The Big Black Van is heading up on the 5th, and we'll be there for the duration.
23,

Re:some portland monsters
There is a chance we will have some video action ... at least around the weekends... MurkVisuals is part of our krew and is going to try to make it down...
Our crew is a bit scattered this year, though, I will be there from the 5 to the 15... so we should have plenty of opportunities to connect.
We should have a decent sound system, shaded and connected to a bus (for emergency gear stashing, etc)... the weekend nights will be pretty fully booked, however, the weeknights provide many opportunities for unique collaborations... this is the part we look forward to the most...
